Creation’s Fury

Black and white compressed to gray
Drab storms seep unleashed Fury
Angels descend upon a tarnished land

Mud sparks
Congealed howls now mimic a distant gift
Artisans rise
Destroy
Create

Neither and both

    1. I’d never heard of Ted Hughes—.based on what i found concerning his prominence within the poetry world, i feel a little ridiculous confessing this—his work is amazing. That you think I, even in the smallest of ways, reflect elements of his oeuvre is a great compliment indeed. Thank you and thanks for introducing me to Hughes!
